Christopher S. Beckmann, age 56, of Ocean Pines died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. He was born in Plainfield, NJ and was the son of Janet (Ostrom) Cassidy of Ocean Pines and the late George A. Beckmann.

He had been a Heating & Air technician and was a member of Dunellen U.M. Church in Dunellen, NJ. He was also an Army and Marine veteran.

He is survived by his mother, Janet (Ostrom) Cassidy; two brothers, Paul Beckmann of Colorado Springs, CO and Mark Beckmann of Berlin; two sisters, Cynthia Simmons of North Bergen, NJ and Jennifer Coddington of Laurence Harbor, NJ; a half-sister, Elaine Welsch of Westminster, CO; three step brothers, Richard Cassidy of Valrico, FL, Michael Cassidy of Dunellen, NJ and Edward Cassidy of Virginia Beach, VA; 4 step sisters, Patricia Swank of Dunellen, NJ, Pamela Cassidy of Honesdale, PA, Cindy Jane Cassidy of Honesdale, PA and Rebecca Wolfe of Virginia Beach, VA.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 21 at Taylorville United Methodist Church in Berlin with Pastor Terry Fort officiating.
